Samosas are a beloved snack enjoyed by many around the world. Making the perfect samosa involves attention to detail, from the dough to the filling. Here’s how you can master this delicious pastry at home.

Ingredients:

  • For the Dough:
    • 2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 4 tablespoons oil or ghee
    • Water (as needed)
    • Salt (to taste)
For the Filling:
  • 2 cups boiled and mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup green peas (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, finely chopped
  • 2 green chilies, finely chopped
  • Spices: turmeric, garam masala, coriander powder, cumin powder
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Fresh coriander leaves

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix the flour, salt, and oil. Gradually add water and knead into a firm dough. Cover and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Filling: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds, and let them splutter. Add ginger and green chilies, then the peas, and cook for a few minutes. Add mashed potatoes and spices. Cook for a few minutes, then add fresh coriander.
  3. Shape the Samosas: Divide the dough into small balls, roll each into a circle, and cut in half. Shape each half into a cone, fill with the potato mixture, and seal the edges.
  4. Fry the Samosas: Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the samosas until golden brown and crispy.

Now, that’s what I call a good story! And pretty well structured post too. I like the related products section and the gallery images. Definitely my favorite WooCommerce theme for fashion stores.
